Protected together! With the recent introduction of the COVID-19 Vaccines, resident and staff covid cases have dropped by over 50%. Our team is honored to do our part in helping to end this year long pandemic.
Here at The Healthcare Resort of Leawood we love to pamper our residents but have had a challenging time doing so safely as of late.
Covid-19 precautions have pushed us to brainstorm new ideas to perk our residents and staff up. Our Moment of Truth highlights our Social Services & Admissions Director, Erin Raska, who decided to do a rolling Farmers Market for the residents. Long-term residents miss going to the Overland Park market as part of the offered activities and this offered a creative and safe alternative. Erin collected and put together a rolling market offering snacks, drinks, and flowers for them to pick from.
